Chris is one of Australia’s finest performers. His playful leading man charisma and versatile comedic instincts have garnered him widespread critical acclaim and a string of prestigious award nominations. He has played both leading and character roles in many plays and major musicals - including the world premiere of Global Creatures’ King Kong.
He has called New York home since starring alongside Cate Blanchett in The Present on Broadway.
As a writer, Chris’ theatrical collaborations have included stunning contemporary adaptations of classics by Seneca and Ibsen, his own one man character comedy Andre Tonight! and the immersive theatre show Made In America with Malaysian theatre company Terry & The Cuz that played two seasons at New York’s Public Theatre in 2018/19.
His award winning podcast CrossBread, which he wrote and performed alongside platinum singer/songwriter Megan Washington and Declan Fay won an Australian Writer’s Guild award and was nominated for an ARIA (Australia’s Grammy Award).
Most recently, Chris has been performing in numerous productions with director Simon Philips (Priscilla Queen of the Desert) and has received rave reviews for his hilarious turns in the hit new musical Bananaland by Kate Miller Heidke and Keir Nuttall.
Chris is a double graduate of the prestigious Victorian College of the Arts in classical singing and acting.
